Letterkenny Rovers have been crowned champions of the Donegal League Division 1 after defeating Donegal Town 3-1 this afternoon.
They sealed the Temple Domestic Appliances Division 1 crown at Leck View with a champion’s comeback performance.
Donegal Town took the lead in the seventh minute, but just a minute later Letterkenny equalised with a Caolan McConnell strike.
The game remained at a stalemate into the second half, before strikes from both Lee McMonagle and Joel Gorman sealed the comeback and the title for the Letterkenny men.
