With the recent spell of good weather and the Buncrana Golf Club course in excellent condition, it was no surprise to see some great scores posted at the weekend.

None were better than that of Conor Bradley (17) who shot a very impressive 71 gross to leave him with 48 pts. Conor played some great golf over the 18 holes and was consistent throughout with 24 pts on each 9. Eoin Mc Namee (12) was unfortunate to finish second on 46 pts but will welcome the return to form.

The full results of the Cottage Bar Open Stableford played on Saturday and Sunday are as follows;

Overall/Cat 2 Conor Bradley (17) 48 pts

Gross Fiáchra O’ Flaherty (-1) 66 gross

Category 1 Eoin Mc Namee (12) 46 pts

Category 3 Toish Fitzpatrick (26) 40 pts

Best Day (Sat) Paddy Ward (17) 43 pts
