Letterkenny AC’s Philip McHugh takes Streets of Ballyshannon 5K win

Letterkenny AC runner Philip McHugh has won the 2024 edition of the Streets of Ballyshannon 5K.

He took the win in a close race to the line in a time of 15:33, just 3 seconds ahead of second place runner Féidhlim McGowan of North Sligo AC.

Third place in the men’s race went to Charlie O’Donnell in a time of 16:05.

Tír Chonaill runner Ciara Cunningham won the women’s race in a time of 18:08, crossing the line over 20 seconds ahead of second-placed Nadine McIntyre. Aisling Van Rensburg completed the podium in the womens’ race in third position.
