The King is Back – A new anthem for a new Jim McGuinness era?

A Donegal band has got back together after 30 years to produce a new anthem supporting Donegal’s footballers – and the return of Jim McGuinness.

Celtic rock band Cajun Paddy have produced the new tune after three decades apart, with the comeback of Jim McGuinness a huge motivating factor in getting the show back on the road again.

Their new song, titled The King is Back, is a rhythmic rock anthem, with plenty of Irish traditional influence.

The brilliant music video, produced by award-winning Donegal studio Re-Act Productions, has already received a great response across social media.

Any music video celebrating Donegal and Jim McGuinness that also has a guy playing an electric guitar on top of a tractor will be highly recommended in Donegal Daily‘s books.
