Sunday is set to look mixed on the weather front.

Things will start out cloudy and overcast, but there will be decent spells of widespread sunshine for a time as any lingering mist and fog clears.

However into the afternoon things will get cloudier again, with some scattered showers turning heavy at times.

Highest temperatures between 10 and 12 degrees today.

Conditions will stay similar tonight, with widespread cloud and outbreaks of rain.

Temperatures tonight will be slightly higher than recent nights, dipping to between 4 and 6 degrees celsius.
