Gardaí in Milford are investigating a criminal damage incident after a lorry was damaged by rocks.

The incident was reported at Lough Fern Heights sometime between 5pm on Thursday, 25th April and 7.30am on Friday, 26th April.

A lorry had been parked in the residential estate overnight and when the owner returned in the morning, they discovered that the front windscreen had been smashed by rocks.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses. “If anybody observed any suspicious activity in the area between those dates or if they have any relevant information, we ask them to contact Milford Gardaí on 074-9153060,” a spokesperson said.
