The Lifeboats been answering Mayday calls for over 200 years.
And nowhere do we need them more than in Donegal.
But as summer approaches, we could be the ones sending out a Mayday Call instead.
These volunteers go out in the best of gear and equipment and are highly trained for whatever may face them, and fundraising ensures that they have that the best supports, to save lives and prevent drowning.
We regularly see the Buncrana lads out on practice and undoubtedly, they’re going to be facing another busy summer season, so will you go the distance and answer their Mayday Call?
As in previous years, a Mayday bucket Collection will take place in the Letterkenny Aldi Stores on Friday May 3rd from 9am until 6pm. and every little helps, so please support this very worthy cause.
