Concern over ticket allocation for Donegal fans for Ulster Final

The Donegal County Board has contacted local clubs warning them that ticket allocations for the Ulster Final will be less than orders put in by clubs.

Jim McGuinness and his team will travel to Clones next Sunday where they face Armagh.

The Glenties man has already spoken about the lift that Donegal fans have given his team as they beat Derry and Tyrone on the road to the final.

The capacity of the Monaghan venue is around 36,000 and promises to be a sell-out for the hotly-anticipated encounter.

But clubs are now warning that fans may have to get their tickets elsewhere.

Sean Mac Cumhaills is one of a number of club who fear they will be scrambling for tickets for the game.

A spokesperson for the club posted on the club’s official social media page “WE have received notification from the County Board that our ticket allocation will be much smaller than the order we placed.

“We will do our bets to get additional tickets to try and help as many paid up club members as possible but given that every club in the county is under the same pressure it is highly unlikely we will be able to satisfy everyone’s order.”
