Breaking: No additional tickets to be released for Ulster Final

Ulster GAA has confirmed no additional tickets will be released on ‘general sale’ ahead of Sunday’s mouth watering final between Donegal and Armagh.

The confirmation was made in the last half hour, dashing many fans’ hopes of getting to see the game in Clones.

The Donegal County Board has already contacted local clubs warning them that ticket allocations will be less than the orders they have submitted.

Jim McGuinness has already spoken about the lift that Donegal fans have given his team as they beat Derry and Tyrone on the road to the final.

The capacity of the Monaghan venue is around 36,000 and is a certain sell-out for the hotly-anticipated encounter.

Sean Mac Cumhaills is one of a number of clubs who fear they will be scrambling for tickets for the game.

A spokesperson for the club posted on the club’s official social media page “We have received notification from the County Board that our ticket allocation will be much smaller than the order we placed.

“We will do our best to get additional tickets to try and help as many paid up club members as possible. But given that every club in the county is under the same pressure, it is highly unlikely we will be able to satisfy everyone’s order.”
