Go Visit Inishowen has launched its inaugural ‘I LOVE INISHOWEN DAY’ which will take place on June 8th.

Transitional year students from around the peninsula participated in a competition to create a flag for Inishowen.

The competition was judged by Artlink and local historians and the winner was Eava Deeney from Crana College.

The flag will be launched on the Go Visit Inishowen flag pole outside the tourist office.

There will be a free family event at the Go Visit Inishowen Tourist office on Saturday, June 8th , launching the flag,  between 1-3pm with music by Tatter Jack’s tours.

Artlink will be there making button badges and a food truck will be present serving coffees and tray bakes and other exciting treats for kids.

Any business looking to host special offers can download the I LOVE INISHOWEN DAY  graphics on their website: www.govisitinishowen.com
