Two people have died following separate road accidents in the North – that happened just 20 miles from eachother.
A 17 year old boy was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-car accident this morning, on the Banbridge road in Rathfriland, County Down.
Another young man, a 19 year old, was also injured in the crash that occurred at around 2:30am this morning according to Police.
A man aged in his 60s also died in a separate accident yesterday evening, just 20 miles away.
Police say the man was killed when a car collided with a lorry on the A27 in Poyntzpass, County Armagh, which is next to the border with County Down.
Appeals have been made for witnesses to both accidents.
