An extensive operation took place this afternoon to remove a lorry that crashed into a field on the Letterkenny-Lifford road.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when the HGV veered off the road near Drumoghill and overturned in a nearby field.
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A section of the N14 between the Manorcunningham roundabout and the Mondooey junction was closed for a period this afternoon to facilitate the safe removal of the lorry.
Gardaí worked alongside crane specialists to clear the scene.
The road is now fully reopened, and traffic is flowing normally.
