A special mass honouring military members from Donegal will be held in Lifford at the end of this month.
The mass is in honour of all of the soldiers, civilian workers and families who served in the Prior Military School Post in Lifford.
Members of the 28th Battalion and also any members who served at Rockhill and Finner Camp over the years are also invited to the special mass.
The event takes place on Friday the 28th of June, at St Patrick’s Church Murlog, with a parade also taking place beforehand on the church grounds at 10am for the 28th Infantry Battalion as well as various veteran’s associations.
The mass itself will start at 11am, with the names of all deceased members of the 28th Infantry Battalion to be read out as part of the service.
