Oisin Orr drives home a winner at Hamilton

Rathmullan jockey Oisin Orr rode home a 15/8 shot winner at Hamilton Park yesterday.

Orr was racing on Jungle Drums in the Wellman Cars Private Hire Hamilton EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes (Bands C & D) with a top prize of £4,806.

Orr was also third home in the Cleanstay At Hampton By Hilton Bothwell Castle Fillies’ Handicap on the 5/2 shot Persian Phoenix.

It was a double for trainer Karl Burke with wins for both Jungle Drums and Leovanni (22/1) in the Grp 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.
