A young Donegal fan who was heartbroken after losing his favourite signed hat has had it returned to him.
An appeal was made on behalf of the boy by Donegal GAA, after he had lost his hat at the Donegal vs Clare game last weekend.
The hat featured signatures by a number of Donegal footballing stars, including Daire O’Baoill.
The appeal reached far and wide as the search was on for the treasured item.
All’s well that ends well however, as it turns out another young boy picked up the hat at the game and took it home.
Once the boy and his family spotted the appeal, they were able to reach out and kindly return the hat to a very happy owner.
