Rarely seen images of Tory Island and its inhabitants are to be unveiled next week in a new exhibition by a world-renowned photojournalist.

‘Looking Back, Tory Island’, by Eric Luke, will be launched at the island’s Community Centre on Saturday week, July 13 at 8pm. The launch is open to the public.

“Comharchumann Thoraí are pleased to host a photographic exhibition showcasing the work of Eric Luke,” a spokesperson said.

“This exhibition will showcase a beautiful selection of Eric Luke’s photographs of Tory Island from the 1970s up to the present day.”

Eric Luke has kindly allowed us to use a selection of photos that are to appear in the exhibition.
