An Grianán Theatre has announced the addition of two new members to their management team in Letterkenny.

Chris Mohan is the new Box Office Supervisor while Richard Crawford takes up the role of Business Development & Marketing Manager.

These new additions come at an exciting time for An Grianán as it enters its 25th anniversary of opening.

Chris Mohan was born and raised in Belfast. In 2016 he graduated with BA (Hons) Acting from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Before moving to Letterkenny and joining An Grianán in 2024, Chris worked primarily as an actor and musician across the UK, Ireland and USA.

Previous acting credits include Good Vibrations (original Lyric Theatre cast, Irish Arts Centre NYC), Cult Killer (Now TV 2024), and HOPE STREET (BBC 2021). One of his first touring theatre jobs was C21’s Little Red Riding Hood in 2012, which culminated in a stint at An Grianán Theatre.

Aside from performing, Chris has also previously worked at the box office for the Everyman and Playhouse Theatres in Liverpool, and as a steward for live television and radio performances at the BBC in London.

Chris said: “I am over the moon to now be a part of the team at An Grianan Theatre. This venue has always held a special place in my heart, since I had the pleasure of performing here as The Big Bad Wolf back in 2012 as a budding 19-year-old actor. This venue is a real jewel in the crown of Irish Theatre, and it is an absolute pleasure to be welcomed into the An Grianán family.”

Richard Crawford joins An Grianán as the Business Development and Marketing Manager. Richard graduated from LYIT in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing, with an extensive career as a manager, Richard’s career has focused on the customer experience, and he hopes to bring that forward to An Grianán.

Richard as a former Creative Director working in the fashion industry comes with a love of the creative industry and a passion for promoting Donegal as a hub for all things creative. Richard noted that some of his career highlights include winning the Draper’s Independent Window of The Year Award for his work on creative window sets.

Patricia McBride, Theatre Director had this to say about the new appointments, “I am really delighted to welcome Chris and Richard to the team at An Grianán Theatre. I look forward to the injection of their energy and creativity to the management team as the theatre reaches the milestone of our 25th anniversary.

“Chris has great experience from the world of theatre and hospitality and will be leading the box office team to maintain our highest standards in customer care.
