Letterkenny Golf Club will host its annual Club Classic next Saturday, August 3.

The Club’s main fundraiser, it is sponsored by Lexus Letterkenny in association with the Kelly family who have supported the event  for the last number of years.

Having been appointed Lexus Dealers in 2023, dealer principle Brendan Kelly is delighted to welcome Lexus Ireland on board this year.  An array of Lexus Cars will be on view on the day of the classic and representatives of Lexus Ireland will also take part in the competition.

Member and visitor support is vital for the success of this classic and booking is now available through the Clubnet app. Visitors should book through the Club shop by ringing (074)9121150.   A prize fund of €2,500 is on offer again this year

The Lexus motto is Experience Amazing and dealer principle Brendan hopes that all taking part in this year’s competition will have an amazing experience.

At the launch of the Lexus Letterkenny Club Classic are Ed Margey President, Anne Flannery Lady Captain, Brendan Kelly dealer principle Lexus Letterkenny and Paul Carr Captain.

Juniors

Junior Captain’s Lewis Mulligan & Cassie Lambe hosted their day to Juniors at Letterkenny G C during the week.

Forty juniors took part where golf & a fine meal @ Hunters was enjoyed by all the participants. Alan Kenny won the 5 Hole 200yds boys & Myles McCabe came out on top in the 7 Hole 200yds competitions. In the senior Girls Hazel Daly played wonderful golf to lift the Junior Girls Captains Cup. In the senior boys Kayden Mc Kenna had a fine 37 pts to pip Daniel Mc Clafferty on a bot. It was great for the younger juniors to look at the leadership shown by Lewis & Cassie who have been excellent ambassadors for the club down through the years. Well done to all & fabulous to see the youthful buzz @ the club when the Juniors play.
