A stormy night across Donegal saw more than 1,000 ESB customers lose power.
More than 1,100 homes were hit at various stage throughout the night.
It followed a Status Orange rain and wind warning from midnight until 4am
Among the areas hit were Milford and Killybegs.
More than 200 homes and businesses in the Ballyraine area of Letterkenny were also without power.
The vast majority of those hit have now had their power returned.
Apart from some fallen trees, there are no reports of any major incidents.
However, Gardai have asked people to drive carefully in case there is debris on the roads.
