Cumann na gCurach Gaoth Dobhair had a very successful weekend’s rowing in the Irish International Currach Championships in Warrenpoint, Co. Down.
In challenging sea conditions club members participated in various races and secured a number of trophies.
Brothers Michael, Rónán and Simon O’Donnell won the men’s trebles (pictured above). Rónán O’Donnell won the men’s singles.
Anna Ní Fherarraigh teamed with Carly McMakin and Martine Giselle of the USA, won the female trebles.
Michael and Rónán O’Donnell were second in the men’s doubles. Michael O’Donnell, Anna Ní Fhearraigh and Rónán O’Donnell were second in the mixed trebles.
It was a rewarding and enjoyable competition for all.
