Rosses AC athletes dominate at Bundoran 5K

Rosses AC had a number of big wins at the Bundoran 5k at the weekend.

Charlie O’Donnell was first home in the men’s section, running 16:56. He was followed by Gary Scully in a time of 18:42.

In the ladies section, Claire O’Donnell took the victory in 20:13.

At the Frank Duffy 10 mile in Dublin in the Phoenix Park, Maria Ni Mhaolagain finished 4th overall in 1:02:37.

On Thursday last at the Magheroarty 5k there was a large number of club athletes who supported with Charlie O’Donnell, again, first back followed by Gary Scully and Declan Gallagher in 3rd. Next Rosses athlete was the consistent James McGeehan just ahead of Kenn Bates. Some great runs also by Eoin Boyle, Michael Logue, Denis Boner, Norman McClean, Paddy Solan, Shane Trearty, Michael O Donnell and Noel Boyd. First Lady back Bernie Boyle, followed by Ashleigh Ni Shuibne and Aileen Logue first junior (3rd overall) and Martina Mulhern 3rd Senior. Cathy Breslin took the F50 win.
