A special homecoming event will be held for multi award-winning World Masters athlete, Sinead McConnell, on Thursday night.
The Finn Valley AC member won two silver and a bronze at the competition in Gothenburg, Sweden, at the weekend.
She earned a brilliant bronze yesterday morning in the 20km race walk at Slottsskogen City Park – her first time to race over the 20km distance. That completed a fine hat-trick of medals, hot on the heels of silver medals in the 5k and 10k race walks.
The homecoming will take place at the Finn Valley Centre, Stranorlar, on Thursday at 8pm.
