This is the illegal haul of cannabis vapes seized in Donegal last week.
Over €3,000 of vaping products containing suspected illegal cannabinoids (THC, HHC and HHCP) during the course of searches carried out Bundoran and Donegal Town.
Items seized included 66 vapes and two bottles of oil, containing THC, HHC and HHCP.
These searches came following reports that a member of the public had become unwell having consumed a similar product.
They were carried out by the Divisional Drugs Unit as part of their more broad work to dismantle the sale or supply of cannabis in the form of oil and vapes, devices and e-cigarettes in the county.
Gardai say these vapes and other products infused with suspected illegal cannabinoids (THC, HHC and HHCP) can have significant negative effects on a person’s health – especially when they may not have been aware be fully aware of the strength of the product being consumed.
