Communities in Belfast and Donegal are mourning the passing of Anna McMullan (née Larkin) of 60 Diamond Gardens, Belfast.

Anna passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her loving family on 20th September 2024.

Mrs McMullan will be dearly missed by her family and friends in Belfast and also her friends in Kilmacrennan.

Donegal, and Marble Hill in particular, held a special place in Anna’s heart.

Anna was the granddaughter of Kate Mc Ginty and Patrick Larkin from Termon. She spent many holidays and summers in Termon with her parents, Patrick and Lilly Larkin. Later, she and her family enjoyed countless visits to their house in Riverbank, Kilmacrennan.

Anna is the dearly beloved wife of Pat, much loved mummy of Stephen, Paula-Jane, Martin, Andrea and Michael, a loving granny to her 12 grandchildren and a much-loved mother-in-law.

Anna will be reposing at her family home from Tuesday 24th September for those wishing to call and pay their respects.

Anna will leave her family home on Friday 27th September at 9.30am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St Anne’s Church.

Cremation Service to follow in Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium at 12noon.

Anna will be loved and missed always by her heartbroken husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren and entire family circle.
