Daniel O’Donnell is back on TG4 next week.

The long-awaited country music series of concerts, Opry le Daniel, returns on Tuesday 1st October with the show aired from the INEC, Killarney.

Opry le Daniel ar Thuras, presented by Ireland’s no.1 country music artist Daniel O’ Donnell, has hosted the biggest names in country music from the world stage.

They include Charley Pride, Crystal Gayle, Rita Coolidge, and of course, not forgetting Ireland’s home-grown talent of Margo, Mike Denver, Louise Morrissey, ‘the voice of romance’, Roly Daniels and, of course, the King and Queen of Irish Country Music……. Big Tom and Philomena Begley.

Recorded before a live audience, TG4 television’s highest rating country music series of concerts offers a different music theme each night and a host of special guests will join Daniel on stage to perform all your favourite songs.

The first show will see Irish country music favourites Jimmy Buckley, Mike Denver and, all the way from Branson, Missouri, U.S.A. the renowned ‘Teddy Bear Song’ recording artist Barbara Fairchild.

In the following weeks, the shows will feature new artists who have never before performed on the Opry stage, including Eurovision song contest winner, Dana, Frances Black of ‘Women’s Heart fame’ and newcomers Gavin Gribben, Chrissy Mac, Lauren Mc Crory, Onóir and Meadhbh Walsh.

So, tune into TG4 on Tuesday 1st October at 9.30pm for the 2024 series of ‘Opry le Daniel ar Thuras’.
