Termon dominate Moville to seal third Senior Donegal Championship in a row

Termon 7-13 v 1-08 Moville

An dominating display from Termon saw them cruise to a third LGFA Donegal Senior Football Championship in a row at the O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny today.

The result never looked in doubt as Termon slotted three goals past Moville in the first half alone – Ciara McGarvey, Evelyn McGinley and the ever-present Geraldine McLaughlin getting on the scoresheet.

Moville’s effort wasn’t helped when halfway through the first half they were reduced to 14 players after an Erin Leech yellow card – the scoreline 3-09 to 0-04.

Just two minutes into the second half Geraldine McLaughlin fired home Termon’s fourth goal, and she would complete her hat-trick just five minutes later adding Termon’s fifth.

Even when in cruise control for most of the second half Termon pressed on, with two more goals following a brace from Jodie McFadden.

Niamh Hegarty’s second half strike for Moville offered little consolation as Termon cruised their way to their third Donegal LGFA Senior title in a row.
