Donegal singer-songwriter Shauna Scanlon is set to make her TV debut this week.

The talented Ballybofey musician’s meteoric rise will reach new levels on Friday evening when she will perform her hit single ‘Brand New’ on The Six O’Clock Show on Virgin Media One.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be singing one of my own songs on national TV, so I am so excited for this unreal opportunity,” Shauna told Donegal Daily.

Tune in this Friday, October 4, from 6pm to witness this rising Donegal star.

With a passion for music since childhood, Shauna has honed her skills as a singer and pianist over the years. Her musical journey includes performing with the cover band New Romantics.  This year she has branched out on her own, launching with her Homebird single.

Her talent has already gained recognition, with her previous single, If I Knew, being selected as the grassroots pick of the week in May by Beta Da Silva on RTE 2FM.

In July, she launched her debut EP ‘Brand New’ with a live performance at Gallen’s Bar, Ballybofey.
