Team North West had their second home game in the ATU sports hall in Letterkenny against Drogheda Wolves last Saturday.

Drogheda displayed their dominance securing a convincing 84-54 win.

The visitors led by 20 points after the first quarter and the gap was narrowed by halftime to 42-28 but Drogheda were never under pressure.

Christian Simmons, having played last year with Team North West, returned to Donegal to play against them this year and was a vital player for Drogheda.

Shakeil Bertrand was top scorer for North West with 18 points followed by Tyler Mutemasango with 14 points, 9 of these from free throws.

Hopefully Team North West can get back to winning ways against Dublin Lions next weekend.
