Gardaí are appealing for information after windows of two houses in Buncrana were broken – one had a rock thrown through it.

The first incident occurred at 11.18pm on Tuesday, October 15, when a rock was thrown through the kitchen window of the house in Lisowen Avenue.

“We wish to speak to anybody who may have travelled in the area between 11pm and 11.30pm with a dashcam,” Garda Claire Rafferty said.

If anybody can assist the investigation with relevant information, they are asked to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074-9320540. The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.

The second incident of criminal damage occurred on Wednesday, October 16, between midnight and 3pm at a house in St. Columba’s Avenue, Buncrana.

At some point during that time frame, the front living room window at the address was smashed.

Gda Rafferty appealed to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in the area, or who may be able to assist with relevant information, to make contact with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.

Again, the Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.
