Donegal Gardaí have issued a warning to members of the public about the latest ‘electricity discount’ scam.
The racket sees customers receiving a text with a link to a government electric bill discount ‘scheme.’
“We all love a good discount and scammers know this only too well. Do not fall into their trap,” a garda spokesperson said.
“Do not click on the link. Do not provide any personal details – delete and ignore. Please advise vulnerable family members and friends.”
