Letterkenny Rovers FC will be celebrating a historic development at Leckview Park with the official switching on of their brand new floodlights.

Minister Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys, T.D. will attend the switch-on this Saturday, 26th October at 7pm.

The ceremony will be followed by a memorial game in honour of the late Club President, Liam Blake.

Liam, who passed away in July 2022, was an integral part of the club as a player, a groundsman and a leader. He was a founding member of Letterkenny Rovers FC and an inspiring figure within the footballing community in the town.

The memorial match will feature Blake’s Family Select and Club Coaches. This will be followed by refreshments afterwards in Blake’s Bar.

Letterkenny Rovers FC wish to thank the Community Recognition Fund and Donegal County Council for their support in making this project possible.
