The annual Aileen Hallinan Memorial Open Teams of 4 Scramble in aid of The Donegal Hospice took place at Buncrana Golf Club over the Halloween Bank Holiday Weekend.

There was a tremendous turnout of this annual fundraiser, even though the weather conditions were not great. The best score of the weekend was returned by the team of Paddy Ward, Gerard and Martin McDermott and Hugo Crumlish who played some great golf over the 18 holes to return an excellent score of 52.1. This was just enough to defeat the team of Stephen Coyle, Darren McDonald, Marty McBrearty and Shaun Harkin who also returned a fine score of 52.9 to take 2 nd place.
