Gardaí are appealing for information following a collision between an ambulance on call and a white jeep on the Polestar Roundabout in Letterkenny.
The minor incident took place on Saturday, October 5, shortly before 6.10 pm. The wing mirrors of both vehicles collided while the ambulance crew were on an emergency call and the lights and sirens were activated.
“However, the driver of the ambulance was not in a position to stop to ascertain details due to the situation at hand and he reported the matter to Gardaí as soon as possible afterwards,” Garda Sean Sweeney said.
“It is not known if any damage was caused to the white jeep but we wish to make contact with the driver of same to clarify this.”
The driver is asked to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
