Donegal’s Mark Coyle has been honoured as one of the starting XI in the League of Ireland Premier Division’s Team of the Year.

The Burt man had a career year, as he captained Shelbourne to an unlikely title win, under manager and Ireland legend Damien Duff.

Coyle was one of Duff’s first signings as Shelbourne manager, the midfielder being signed from Finn Harps to help bolster the Shels midfield.

Mark did more than just bolster it however, becoming a must-start and then club captain at the start of their title winning campaign this year.
