To mark ‘World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims’, a short prayer service is to be held in north Donegal next weekend.

The event will take place at the front of the Public Service Centre, Main St, Milford, on Sunday the 17th of November at 6pm. Members of An Garda Síochána, the Fire Service and Ambulance personnel will be in attendance.

All are welcome.

Sixteen people have been killed on Donegal’s roads so far this year, compared to ten for all of last year.

The latest victim, popular baker James Mailley (65), died after a single vehicle crash near Kerrykeel at the end of last month.
