The Cloich Cheann Fhaola Men’s team has etched their name in darts history, claiming the coveted Men’s All-Ireland 5-Aside Championship title at the Killarney Darts Festival.

The championship-winning team, captained by Ciaran Mc Geady, included Dean Gallagher, Alan Byrne, Stephen Harron, and Adrian Devine.

Cloich Cheann Fhaola made their intentions clear from the outset, dominating the group stages with a perfect record. The team won all their matches 5-0, showcasing their exceptional talent and teamwork as they topped their group with ease.

As the tournament progressed, the Donegal men carried their momentum into the knockout rounds. In the Last 32, they breezed through with a decisive 3-0 win. The Last 16 brought more intense competition, but the team’s resilience shone as they secured a 3-2 victory.

The Quarter Finals saw another tight match, with Cloich Cheann Fhaola once again emerging victorious by 3-2. Their Semi-Final performance was nothing short of spectacular, achieving a flawless 3-0 win to book their place in the final.

The final against the Kerry team was a fitting climax to the tournament. Both teams displayed remarkable skill and determination in a nail-biting contest. In the end, Cloich Cheann Fhaola clinched the championship with a narrow but hard-earned 3-2 victory, cementing their status as champions.

Speaking after the win, team captain Ciaran Mc Geady expressed his pride in the team’s performance: “The lads played their hearts out. Every match was a team effort, and this victory means so much to all of us.”
