Donegal County Council’s litter and dog wardens recently held a successful awareness morning in Glenties.
The aim of the event was to highlight the importance of responsible dog ownership, particularly cleaning up after pets.
“It saw excellent public engagement, and all dog walkers demonstrated outstanding compliance, showcasing their commitment to keeping our community clean and welcoming for everyone,” a council spokesperson said.
The council also reminds dog owners of the importance of taking control of their pets and ensuring they do not roam freely, as this can pose risks to public safety, other animals, and the environment.
