RTE’s Toy Show is set to be watched by millions of young and old alike tonight and now Patrick Kielty has revealed the theme of tonight’s show.

Kielty is in charge as he revealed that the classic Hollywood movie Home Alone is the theme for tonight’s TV show.

With a viewership of 1.71 million, last year’s Toy Show was the most watched television programme on Irish TV screens.

And Kielty is hoping to go one better tonight with a host of special guests and surprises.

The Toy Show host is certainly looking forward to getting into character for tonight’s show.

“The theme tonight is Home Alone,” says Patrick. “We’ve gone classic, so for people of a certain vintage like you and me, we remember it from the first time round.

“For younger viewers tonight, what’s good about it is that, normally the Toy Show pushes the grown-ups out of the way and the kids take over.

“With Home Alone there are no grown-ups,” he adds. “Kevin’s in charge, anything can happen – so, hopefully, that’s what’s coming your way later.”
