The rescheduled launch of Tom Giblin’s annual Nativity and Christmas Lights event in Letterkenny will now take place this Friday 13th December.

It was to be unveiled last Friday at his home in Lisnennan, however, it was postponed due to storm Darragh.

Storm damage delayed Tom’s second attempt at a switch-on on Sunday last.

It’s now confirmed that the event will take place on Friday 13th December at 6pm.

Gardaí are asking all who plan on attending to please park in a responsible manner and not to block access for residents in the area or for the emergency services.

Gardaí will be there to manage the traffic on the evening. Please obey all instructions given by them.

Tom, who is known for his love of miniature farm animals, launched his live nativity in 2022, raising over €2,000. This year, he is back with even more furry friends and fantastic lights for families to enjoy.

The event is organised to raise funds for 16 different charities.

For further information, and updates, visit the Tom Giblin Nativity/Christmas Lights Facebook page.
