Gritters will be deployed on all main routes in Donegal this evening, ahead of a status yellow weather warning for snow and ice.
All roads on Donegal County Council’s Winter Maintainance routes will be covered from 9pm tonight.
This comes as falls of hail, sleet and snow are anticipated overnight, with Met Éireann warning motorists of dangerous travelling conditions.
