Free construction training programme for women enrolling in Letterkenny

Are you female, currently unemployed and looking for a new career in construction?

Rural Enterprise Skillnet is delighted to announce the next Women in Construction programme commencing February 17th in Letterkenny.

This fully-funded full-time programme is open to women seeking to work in this sector.

Beginning in Letterkenny on 17th February, the ten-week programme offers an opportunity to get job-ready for a new career path with essential skills and 14 certifications for the construction sector.

All participants will undertake a four-week work placement following the completion of a six-week training programme which will provide practical experience and the opportunity to showcase their newly acquired skills to potential employers.

This is a full-time programme that will cover training in topics such as Safepass, Working at Heights, Safety & Health at Roadworks and 360 Excavator or Site Dumper Operator (New Entrants Programme) amongst other elements.

Rural Enterprise Skillnet is committed to offering an inclusive and supportive journey for people seeking to explore the potential and benefits of working in an industry currently experiencing a skills shortage.
