Basketball: Team Northwest edged out by Scotts Lakers

In a nail-biting showdown at ATU Donegal on Saturday night, Team Northwest were edged out by Scotts Lakers from Killarney in a final score of 65-60.

The visitors led 42-35 at halftime and while Team Northwest pulled back in the 3rd quarter they were still behind by 3 going into the last quarter.

There were 12 lead changes and 7 ties during the thrilling match. Top scorer for Team Northwest was Alberto Rodriguez with 21 points.

The next match is at home to Malahide on Saturday 15th Feb 5pm.
