Ward and Crumlish take victory at Buncrana Golf Club

Paddy Ward and Hugo Crumlish came out on top in the weekend’s action at Buncrana Golf Club.

They were victorious in the 8 Hole Open Pairs/Teams of 2 Scramble, in excellent conditions for golf in Buncrana.

The pairing that took full advantage of were Paddy Ward (18) and Hugo Crumlish (25), with Hugo sinking putts from all angles it was certainly going to be their day.

The full results of the Teams of 2 Open Stableford Scramble played Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th February 2025 are as follows:

1st

Paddy Ward (18), Hugo Crumlish (25) 46 pts

2nd

Darren Mc Laughlin (7), John Kennedy (8) 43 pts

Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd February 2025 – Open Teams of 4 Scramble Stroke.
The format will be 1/8 combined handicap and there will also be a prize for the best Team Gross score in this competition. Any complete team that has already recorded a first in a team prize this year will have a penalty shot on their returned score.

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd March 2025 – 18 Hole Singles Open Stableford.
