The Butt Drama Circle will tonight host the second of three wonderful nights of theatre as part of the Donegal Secondary Schools Drama Festival.

The event, which opened to huge crowds last night, returns tonight and tomorrow night at the Balor Theatre, Ballybofey, with over 100 students from around the county showcasing their talent.

This year’s festival opened with performances from St. Eunan’s College, Letterkenny, Abbey Vocational School, Donegal Town, and Loreto Secondary School Letterkenny.

Tonight sees performances from Royal and Prior Comprehensive, Raphoe, and St. Columba’s College, Stranorlar.

The festival will be rounded off tomorrow with shows performed by Colaiste Colmcille, Ballyshannon, Carndonagh Community School, Crana College and Errigal College.

Run annually by the award-winning Butt Drama Circle, the festival provides a unique opportunity for teenagers to experience performing in a state of the art venue, in front of a live audience.

It promises to be a very special event, and a memorable experience for students, parents and teachers alike.

Audience booking is essential, as tickets will be in high demand. Tickets are priced at €5 and can be purchased online or from the Balor Theatre Box Office during business hours on 074 9131840.
