Last weekend, Fodhla Nic Phaidhin was the sole Rosses AC representative at the National Senior Indoor Championships in Athlone.
Taking part in both the Triple jump and Long Jump, Fodhla did the Triple Jump on Saturday jumping 10.17m and finishing a strong 9th. In the Long Jump she had a season best jump of 5.09m breaking the 5m mark. Well done to Fodhla who continues to get back into jumping and these results show the training put in over the past number of months.
This weekend will see many of our juvenile athletes make the journey to Athlone for the Ulster Underage Indoor Championships after many months of winter training. Good luck to all the athletes, coaches and officials.
Circuits continue on Tuesdays in Annagry Hall with Sportshall and High Jump for beginners on Wednesdays. Seniors continue to train Mondays and Wednesday in Dungloe and Tuesdays and Thursdays in Gaoth Dobhair.
The Rosses AC U14 relay team of Aaliyah Gallagher, Olivia Gorman, Caitlin Sweeney and Molly Sharkey who compete this weekend at the Ulster Indoor Championships.
