Donegal Ladies defeated by unbeaten Galway in National League

Donegal 0-06 v 2-17 Galway

It was a case of deja-vu for Donegal fans as the Donegal Senior Ladies side fell to defeat against a surging Galway side this afternoon in Ballybofey.

Two first-half goals from Galway’s Shauna Hynes and Olivia Divilly gave Donegal a tall task to come back in this encounter.

Despite a decent scoring outing from Jodie McFadden, who scored three of Donegal’s points – the still undefeated Galway side were too much for Donegal to handle.

However, Donegal are still in place to score a decent result in Division 2 this season, in a heated battle for third in the standings behind the dominant Galway and Cork sides.

Donegal’s next league fixture is another home outing against Tipperary in Ballybofey on the 23rd of March.
