Donegal midfielder, Ciarán Thompson, is among this week’s nominees for the GAA.ie Footballer of the Week award.
The Naomh Conaill man is shortlisted alongside Ryan O’Donoghue of Mayo and Armagh’s Barry McCambridge.
Thompson was instrumental in Donegal’s spectacular comeback victory of league champions, Derry, yesterday at Fr Tierney Park, Ballyshannon.
He contributed six points for Donegal during a frenetic encounter.
Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
Voting closes at 10am tomorrow.
