Finn Harps grabbed their first point of the season when they came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with the students of UCD.

Darren Murphy now has something to build on after three successive defeats in their opening games.

Adam Brennan grabbed the opener for the students in the 40th minute.

But Harps didn’t panic with Gavin Hodgins snatching the equaliser in the 53rd minute.

Harps will be hoping to build on their solitary point when Cobh come to Finn Park next Friday.
