Scoil Mhuire, Stranorlar, is currently fundraising to fund the purchase of a Sensory Path and STEM equipment.

They had a wonderful boat this week when principal Eoghan Roarty and Edel Doherty were presented with a cheque for €3,480 from the Meentycat and Culliagh Community Fund (SSE Renewables).

This funding has been granted for the purchase of Lego in Education kits for the school.

“These kits will give the children great experience when it comes to STEM education,” a spokesperson for the National School said.

Tomorrow, the Parents Association is hosting a disco for the children to continue with the fundraising in these areas. This promises to be great fun.

The disco will be held in Jackson’s Hotel (Pyramid Suite), and begins at 6pm and ends at 8pm. There is strictly no admission without a parent/ guardian present. Tickets €5 per child or €15 per family.
