It wasn’t to be for Danny O’Carroll as Rhys McClenaghan was crowned the winner of the 2025 edition of Dancing With The Stars.

The Dubliner, who lives in Donegal, poured his heart out in a jam-packed Final.

Danny and his partner, professional dancer Salome Chachua, scored 37 in their show dance with an energetic performance.

We also got a look behind the scenes as Danny once again had the support of his family behind him all the way.

During rehearsals, while struggling with back pain, Danny got a boost from a surprise visit from his eldest son Jamie.

It was yet another emotional family moment for Danny after his dad Brendan jetted home from Florida to surprise him for the semi-final last week.

However in the end it was Olympic Gold medallist Rhys McClenaghan and dance partner Laura Nolan who lifted the glitterball trophy, receiving a perfect score of 40 on his final showdance and receiving a standing ovation from the audience and judges after his performance.
